Question
Can brief activities support well-being, connection, and everyday functioning?
A student-led community research initiative
Stronger Minds explores how simple, engaging activities may support well-being, social connection, resilience, and everyday functioning.
Stronger Minds is a research and community program—not a medical or mental-health treatment service.
The idea
People's well-being is shaped by cognition, emotions, relationships, environment, and everyday activities. Stronger Minds asks whether brief, practical experiences can create measurable opportunities for reflection, encouragement, connection, and positive engagement.
Our first goal is not to prove that an intervention works. It is to learn whether the program can be delivered consistently, whether people find it meaningful, and whether outcomes can be measured responsibly.
The research cycle
Can brief activities support well-being, connection, and everyday functioning?
Create simple activities with standardized instructions and accessible materials.
Capture feasibility, participant experience, and exploratory behavioral outcomes.
Use pilot findings to improve the program and guide future studies.
Three activities
The pilot
The initial pilot prioritizes feasibility and participant experience, with exploratory measures of well-being, social connection, and selected behavioral or functional indicators.
