For community organizations

Bring Stronger Minds to your community.

We are looking for libraries, brain injury organizations, senior centers, community groups, schools, and other welcoming community settings interested in hosting or advising a Stronger Minds session.

What we offer

A simple, structured session designed for real community settings.

Stronger Minds uses three brief, accessible activities focused on encouragement, collaboration, self-reflection, strengths, and connection. The activities can be facilitated with ordinary materials and adapted to the needs of a host organization.

Our current work is a pilot research program. We are interested in learning whether the program is feasible, meaningful to participants, and appropriate for broader community use.

Potential host settings

01

Libraries & community centers

Welcoming settings for low-burden, group-based activities and community engagement.

02

Brain injury & neurological organizations

Potential partners for future work involving cognitive health, caregivers, and everyday functioning.

03

Senior & family organizations

Potential settings for connection, strengths-based activities, and future healthy-aging research.

A typical session

What hosting could look like.

We can work with an organization to determine an appropriate session format, participant group, space, and research procedures before any data collection begins.

01 · BEFORE

Coordinate

Discuss the audience, space, timing, accessibility needs, materials, and whether the organization wants to participate in the pilot.

02 · DURING

Facilitate

Run the standardized activities with trained facilitators and a welcoming, non-clinical approach.

03 · AFTER

Learn

Collect brief participant feedback and feasibility measures when the appropriate research/ethics pathway is in place.

Research partnership

We want community partners at the table.

Organizations can contribute more than a venue. Their experience can help us make the activities accessible, useful, respectful, and relevant to the people they serve.

Important

Stronger Minds is not a medical or mental-health treatment service.

The program does not diagnose or treat mental-health or neurological conditions. Any research involving human participants will follow the appropriate consent, privacy, safety, and ethics requirements for the specific study population and setting.
