Participant-centered

About Stronger Minds
Stronger Minds is a student-led community research initiative focused on well-being, cognitive health, social connection, and everyday function.
Our purpose
Stronger Minds creates simple, welcoming activities that invite reflection, encouragement, creativity, and connection. We then ask a research question: can these experiences be delivered consistently and measured in a meaningful way?
The project begins with feasibility. Later versions may examine specific populations and outcomes with appropriate scientific and clinical oversight.
Our principles
Participation is voluntary, understandable, respectful, and adaptable.
Activities are connected to established psychological and behavioral concepts.
Stronger Minds does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional care.
Outcomes are defined before data collection and measured consistently.
Pilot findings guide program refinement rather than overclaiming effectiveness.
We aim to collect the minimum information needed for the stated evaluation purpose.
A note on scope
The program is not designed to diagnose or treat depression, anxiety, dementia, or other medical conditions. People who need medical or mental-health care should continue working with qualified healthcare professionals.
